TATTOO AFTERCARE

• Once your session is complete, I will cover your tattoo with a special film. This film can be worn for 3-5 days.

• After 3-5 days, remove it and wash with anti-bacterial, unscented soap. Cover with a thin layer of ointment (Aquafor or A&D Ointment) *If your bandage begins to leak before this time, follow the same instructions.

• Continue using Aquafor for 2 weeks (3x/day). Do not slather it on! A thin layer is enough.

• Do not scratch or pick at the tattoo. Keep your healing tattoo away from dirty surfaces, children, and pets.

• Stay out of the sun. Begin using sunscreen once the tattoo has healed.

• No swimming or soaking in water of any kind until the tattoo has healed
